A little help with your scan

Start with a clear photo and keep your original until you have checked the downloaded PDF.

Camera or photo won’t open

Choose photos works without a live camera permission. On supported phones, Take a photo opens the system camera or picker. If camera access is denied, choose an existing photo or update the browser permission. Use JPEG, PNG, or WebP up to 20 MiB and 40 megapixels.

Corners or faint text look wrong

Choose Crop and move the handles with your finger, mouse, or arrow keys. Keep the whole photo if necessary. Try Original for faint marks; black-and-white can remove detail. Blurred or clipped text needs a new photo.

The PDF is still too large

The size shown after generation is the exact download size. A target is not a guarantee. If the target is missed, the scanner keeps the smallest complete result and says so. Use a larger limit or fewer pages, and check readability.

A draft is missing or cannot be saved

Drafts belong to one browser on one device. Another browser will not have them. Cleared data, private browsing, and browser storage pressure can remove them. If saving fails, keep the tab open and download your PDF before leaving.

Using the scanner offline

Visit the scanner online and wait for Ready offline. You can then reopen the scanner and import, edit, and export locally. A first visit requires internet. Phone transfer and commerce require a connection.

Phone transfer is paused

Keep both screens open. The app reconnects after a network interruption. On the phone, Retry sends pending photos again with the same identifier so the computer can avoid duplicates. Received on computer appears only after local storage succeeds. If the link expires, create a new one.

Downloading on a phone

Generate the PDF, then tap Download PDF. Depending on your browser, it may open a preview or a download prompt. Share PDF appears when your browser supports sharing files. A canceled share does not delete the generated PDF.

Your next clean PDF is a few photos away.
